Lady Gaga is the richest of all her peers. The 27-year-old Grammy Award-winning singer has topped Forbes’ list of Top Earning Celebrities Under 30, beating fellow singers Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.

Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta has amassed a fortune as great as her full name is long in just one year, from June 2012 to June 2013.

And while $80 million is no laughing matter, even $28 million ahead of Bieber’s comparatively paltry $58 million, Gaga would have earned more if she did not postpone her tour in February to undergo hip surgery.

Her tour grossed $168 million through January, which would have reached $200 million had she stayed healthy and on schedule.

Although Bieber’s reputation has suffered a lot in the past 12 months, his fortune certainly did not. Love him or hate him, this 19-year-old Canadian crooner doesn’t care. With that whopping amount of cash, no wonder he feels privileged, peeing on mop buckets and (reportedly) spitting on his neighbours.

Taylor Swift, who is clearly not a “Belieber,” is just $3 million behind her nemesis. Apart from lucrative endorsement deals, the 23-year-old former country-turned-pop songstress earned a big portion of her wealth from her fourth studio album “Red,” which she released in October 2012.

The oldest in the list is 29-year-old Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, who earned $46 million in one year. He played more than 150 shows in a span of one year, signed on to play more than 70 shows in Las Vegas, and has earned credits from writing and producing songs.

He also wrote and produced the chart-topping single We Found Love by Rihanna, who, coincidentally, is next on the list. Rihanna, 25, earned $43 million after releasing a new album (Unapologetic) and playing over 30 shows.

“It” girl Jennifer Lawrence is the top-ranked actor in the list at eighth place with $26 million in estimated fortune.

Following her are Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner respectively (ninth and tenth place). The top 10 list doesn’t include their Twilight co-star (and Stewart’s ex) Robert Pattinson, though.

Forbes has compiled the list using information they gathered from agents, managers, producers, executives, and other people in the industry. The amounts are all in USD, and have not been deducted of taxes and other costs.
