She was criticized by wearing fur, and it didn't take too long before Lady Gaga reacted with a lengthy letter, defending herself and Kim Kardashian.

The Mother Monster released her statement about her decision to wear fur, and PETA and some of her Little Monsters were not very happy about it. Some fans have reacted differently after she wrote, "Please don't forget to credit the designer HERMES."

Lady Gaga, who is made famous by her eccentric style refused to answer whether the fur she wears are real or fake. With a picture of her wearing pink fur was posted on her Twitter account, PETA criticized the singer as well as some of her loyal fans turned their back against the singer.

"I am choosing not to comment on whether or not the furs I purchase are faux fur-pile or real because I would think it hypercritical not to acknowledge the python, ostrich, cow hide, leather, lamb, alligator, 'kermit' and not to mention meat, that I have already worn," she said.

In her recent post on her website, she addressed her fans by saying how she cares deeply about them but asks that them to respect her views since she respect theirs. On her note, she even came in defense of Kim Kardashian and called the reality star "fabulous."

"But I am truly sorry to fans who are upset by this, its a fair and applaudable feeling about the health and safety of animals. I respect your views, please respect mine. And to campaigners, Save your flour to make bread for the children who are hungry. And Kim Kardashian is fabulous," she posted.

Other fans continue to backlash on the singer by posting on her Facebook wall. Some comments read, "No longer a fan burned all my CD's. If you(or Gag Gag) wants to be furry...STOP SHAVING..you were born that way."
