Lady Gaga is under fire as she is criticized for her obvious fuller figure during her "Born This way Ball Tour." But the singer refuses to take in the negative comments and reveals the reason behind her weight gain.

Lady Gaga has explained it simple words when asked about her 25 pounds weight gain. The singer admitted it was all because of her father's delicious food.

Joe Germanotta, the singer's father, owns a restaurant in New York and after gaining a lot of obvious weight, she said that she will be steering away from the diner. Although she has put on weight, Lady Gaga says that she doesn't feel bad about her figure but rather she wants to be more conscious about what she's eating.

"I love eating pasta and pizza. I'm a New York Italian girl. That's why I have been staying out of New York. My father opened a restaurant. It's so amazing," she confessed to radio host, Elvis Duran. "It's so freaking delicious, but I'm telling you I gain five pounds every time I go in there. So my dad wants me to eat at the restaurant, and I'm, like, I've got to go where I can drink green juice."

"I really don't feel bad about it, not even for a second. I have to be on such a strict diet constantly. It's hard because it's a quite vigorous show, so I tend to bulk up, get muscular, and I really don't like that. So I'm trying to find a new balance," Lady Gaga explained.

The media has dubbed Lady Gaga's most recent pictures during her concert in Amsterdam as "meaty." And her weight gain most certainly didn't hinder the singer from wearing provocative and raunchy outfits on stage. But her fuller figure wasn't the only one that distracted her audience and the media during her concert.

The singer caused a stir when she was seen using marijuana on stage during a break. The singer told her fans that she decreased her alcohol consumption and prefers smoking the "wondrous" drug.

Other fans were disappointed and most of her detractors were again given another green light to bash the "Mother Monster."
