Australian singer Kylie Minogue cannot help but mull over the idea of giving up her career after being in the music industry for 25 years now. The 44-year-old pop superstar admitted that she has imagined herself living a retired life in a big house.

"I think about retiring all the time! I picture my retirement and I'm in a big house and doing lots of cooking and ordinary things in tracksuit bottoms. My hair is in a topknot and there's not a false eyelash in sight. I look pretty terrible in the fantasy! I envision a big garden and dogs. Maybe even a family," Minogue told the UK magazine "Closer."

The talented Australian singer has been dating model Andres Velencoso since 2008 and the couple are probably considering having kids of their own.

However, Kylie Minogue is more cautious with pregnancy after she battled breast cancer in 2005 where she believes that it could have affected her fertility.

"I still think a family would be lovely. If it's not meant to be, then it's not meant to be," Minogue said.

Also in the interview, Kylie Minogue revealed that she had no intention whatsoever of offending Madonna. It has been reported in June that Kylie Minogue said "No... just no" to US TV host Joan Rivers when a photograph of Madonna in a cheerleading outfit was shown to her. "It became 'Kylie disses Madonna's wardrobe'," Minogue said.

With that, Kylie Minogue claimed that she is already exhausted from being constantly involved with rumored wars with other music artists.

"That Gaga vs. Madonna thing is so strange. They're different people. I'm a softie, I don't like confrontation. To be supportive is the best thing. I'm a general pop fan. I like to be outside the ring not in the ring," Minogue revealed.

Meanwhile, Kylie Minogue is scheduled to head back with her boyfriend, Andres Velencoso, to Australia for the New Year's Eve celebrations in Sydney. The singer has been appointed as the creative ambassador for the said event.
