Brunette beauty Kourtney Kardashian is quick to getting back in shape after giving birth to third child Reign Aston Disick, proving that even as a new mother she can still keep up with her workout routine. The reality star has recently posted a photo of her scale and a quick gym selfie, revealing yet again another milestone in her weight loss journey.

The 36-year-old took to Instagram Monday last week to post a photo of her scale which showed that she was currently at 116 pounds. Knowing beforehand that revealing her weight would stir up controversy, Kourtney made sure to cut off her haters by adding a disclaimer to her caption before they start throwing punches at her number. "Ps: I'm 5 feet tall, so everyone relax I'm on a workout kick, trying to bring some Monday motivation," the caption partly read.

Shortly after the scale photo, the brunette beauty snapped a quick gym selfie that she once again shared on the photo-sharing media on Friday, just to show her fans that she was still trying to get in shape to shed off her after-pregnancy fat. In the photo, Kourtney was seen donning black leggings, a blue tank top and neon running shoes, which she said in the caption were a gift from her brother Rob Kardashian.

While the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star received acclaim and encouragement for her supposedly inspiring weight loss journey, her tendency to post her weight updates on social media did not seem to sit well with some of her followers. Some reprimanded her for being insensitive to those with eating disorders, while some questioned how she could lose so much weight just after giving birth, wondering if she still ate at all.

Kourtney’s New York-based yoga teacher Leila Johnson has offered to shed some light to the critiques, revealing that the mother of three has really put in a lot of hard work to achieve her amazing post-baby body by engaging in healthy diets and consistent workouts. "Everything she eats is very fresh, handmade, less processed, less garbage," she told E! News in February. "We make our own roasted trail mixes. We use coconut oil, raw pumpkin seeds and other nuts." She added that Kourtney was also “obsessed” with ghee, which was clarified butter that she cooked with and can be eaten on an empty stomach.

Kourtney, just like her sisters, has always been open about weight loss following pregnancy. According to People, she had previously shared another scale photo in March that showed she weighed 120 pounds, nearly four months after giving birth to Reign. In her caption, she gushed that it was the first time she has seen a relatively low number on the scale for a while now, although her hubby Scott Disick did say he wanted her to return to 93 pounds, which was her weight when they met for the first time.

Kourtney gave birth to Reign Aston in December last year. Reign is her third child with Scott, along with five-year-old Mason and two-year-old Penelope.
