“Kingdom Hearts 3” has been in production for a few years now, but details of the same are just starting to filter into the market. Many have taken this as an indication that the highly anticipated game is close to its launch.

A Reddit user, MaxialstarOA, recently posted a few details about “Kingdom Hearts 3,” which were given by a news writer in Spain. The source had reportedly leaked several items before that were eventually proven true. Nevertheless, the information should not be taken as truth at this point.

According to the post, the release date of “Kingdom Hearts 3” has been moved to March 2018. This estimate, however, is dependent on everything going well from now until the release. If Square Enix was to experience some issues and delays in the development, that date will be moved further back.

The post also went on to say that the current locations and worlds that are being worked on are not final and are therefore still subject to change. Moreover, the team of director Tetsuya Nomura is looking into the possibility of re-exploring old worlds from the original “Kingdom Hearts” game, which was available on the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3 and Nintendo DS.

What really puts things into perspective is that the post claims that the zones that have already been developed are breathtaking. This is likely because Nomura apparently looks into all the details once the world is done and critiques the same. When room for development is apparently seen, it is filled as the director sees fit. What is arguably more important to take away, however, is that there are a worlds that have already been developed, finished and approved.

“Kingdom Hearts 3,” though Square Enix has not released new video clips that further show gameplay or plot, is likely to be as beautiful and massive as ever. The thread also discussed how the development of the game is very challenging -- as the game has so many elements to work on -- and that this is why the process has been relatively slower than usual.

Another Reddit user, Jose_Strife, claimed to be the man who posted the information in Spanish on his Twitter account. He clarified that the details were provided by a “verified source.” He then went on reaffirm that previously provided details were eventually proven to be true. He also said that there is nothing else that he knows at this point.

Unless any details come from Nomura or any of the other individuals directly working on “Kingdom Hearts,” it is best to take these details with a grain of salt. While it is possible that the details are simply not true, it also might be that they are only true for now. Square Enix, on the other hand, will only go on the record once things are final.
