The Mean Girls star has launched her own game called "Lindsay Lohan's The Price of Fame," which basically looks like Kim Kardashian's app called "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood". Lindsay Lohan is the latest celebrity who had her name used in a mobile game that is all about living the Hollywood lifestyle. Unfortunately, Lohan's game cannot be compared to Kardashian's successful venture in the mobile game arena. Not to mention, Lohan's gaming app only highlights the ridiculousness of Hollywood.

The "Lindsay Lohan's The Price of Game" is a mobile game app that is focused on getting as much fans as possible. At the end of each level, a player will be rewarded with coins, which can be used to upgrade the player's lifestyle, Mashable reports.

Lohan's app, which was developed by Space Inch, went live last week. The gaming app debuted at number 401 on the iPhone download chart in the United States, which according to App Annie was typical for a new release. Looking back, Kardashian's app landed on iOS and Android on June 26 and was spotted at number 426 on the same U.S. chart.

In comparison, the two apps may have started on the same footing but has performed much differently on its second day on the charts. "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood" made a giant leap from number 426 to number 2 on the download chart and on the following day, Kardashian's game kept its strong pace by landing on the third spot. However, "Lindsay Lohan's The Price of Fame" only moved from number 401 to number 395 on its second day. Its third day on the chart was even worse as its ranking fell all the way to number 512.

While Lohan's app is struggling in the market, Kardashian's own app has earned millions of dollars since its launch. Currently, the free-to-play game has gained more than 5 million installs on Android alone. Analysts even speculate that the game could reach US$200 million through its first year of release. The success of Kardashian's take on mobile gaming has encouraged other app developers to search for other celebrities for endorsements.
