Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and love is in the air. Establishments are starting to cook up various gimmicks to draw consumers who will be looking for a special way to spend the day with their loved ones. A Brooklyn restaurant called Brucie decided to create a Kim Kardashian and Kanye West themed menu for the patrons who would choose to spend their Valentine’s Day there.

The Brooklyn joint Brucie has decided to offer celebrity-themed Valentine’s Day menus as a gimmick to attract patrons. Last year, the restaurant used pop star Beyonce as their muse for their day of hearts menu. Although Beyonce was the star of the menu, some items included the names of her husband Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy. This time around, Jay-Z’s friend Kanye West and his wife Kim are the inspirations for the restaurant’s creative menu.

The set menu is a choice between the Kim or the Kanye version. For the Kim version, the restaurant changed the names of the dishes with an exaggerated use of the letter “K.” Some menu items include the Stuffed Kalamari and Karrot Terrine. Karrot Kake was pretty clever but they pushed it a bit too hard with Mak N Kheese and Khiken fried Rump Roast.

For the Kanye version, the restaurant used a play of words on Kanye’s hit songs. Menu items include Gold Digger (based on the title of one of Kanye's singles), a dish which incorporates gold leaf and hazelnut dirt. Other courses include All Foie’s Down and Bound 2: Pork Roulade Bourguinon.

The couple’s daughter North West was also part of the menu. The North West is an entree that is meant to be shared by the two diners. It consists of Pacific Northwest salmon and bacon braised greens.

According to the Brucie restaurant’s website, each meal costs US $100 per person excluding tax, tips and alcoholic beverages. Brucie serves typical Italian cuisine and takes pride in their specialty lasagna. The restaurant is located at 234 Court St. in Brooklyn New York and is already accepting reservations for the Valentine’s Day rush.
