The couple's upcoming nuptials are said to be "very over-the-top."Although Kardashian, who was infamously married to Kris Humphries for 72 days, is known for lavish affairs, the reality star has said her second wedding will be more low-key. "The next time, I want to do it on an island with just my friends and family and that's it," Kardashian said in 2012. Yet, it appears the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been swayed by boyfriend Kanye West, who wants an extravagant wedding with his love.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will have an over-the-top wedding, but likely at a resort destination for maximum privacy.

"He wants something really cool and big and over-the-top," a source told Us Weekly. "Kanye has never been married before and wants a big wedding. So Kim is getting used to the idea again," the insider added. While West is insisting on a wedding to rival his girlfriend's previous nuptials, he has reportedly agreed to one part of Kardashian's conditions. "They'll most likely have a destination wedding," the source said.

West is apparently pulling out all the stops for his marriage to Kardashian, teaming up with his designer friends to ensure the affair is chic and elegant. "It won't be cheesy. There will be a real sense of design," the source explained. West has recently taken on the role of fashion designer himself, and the rapper will likely be hands-on when it comes to planning the luxurious soiree. "Kanye is very interested in design and décor," the insider said. "He will want to be involved in all of that."

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to extravagant weddings. Her first ceremony with ex-husband Kris Humphries was so famous that Madame Tussauds remembered the day with a wax sculpture!

West and Kardashian reportedly decided to wed after the reality star's flawless performance while delivering baby North. Kardashian gave birth to her daughter, whose nickname is Nori, during an unexpected emergency weeks before the baby's due date. The drama, however, didn't phase her. "He's even more in love with her now than ever and they can't wait to get married," a source said after Kardashian delivered.

"The baby has solidified their relationship," a friend of Kim's told Us Weekly. "They're doing really well. [Kanye] has matured and grown a lot very quickly. He seems a lot more at peace. It's cool to see him so happy and calmed down. He's a natural father," the source said.

Kim's absence from the spotlight has been rather unusual for the reality star, who has relentlessly pursued media attention from the moment her sex tape was 'leaked' in 2007.
