Bristish actress, Kiera Knightley spoke about her thoughts on Kate Middleton's pregnancy, but says she is not "in favor" of the monarchy. Gentle treason or liberal thinking?

The 'Atonement' actress posed for the cover of Marie Claire magazine and did an interview where she revealed what she thought about the Duchess' royal pregnancy.

"I'm over the moon about the royal baby," said the actress about Catherine's highly publicized pregnancy. Yesterday, first photos of the Duchess walking around with her baby bump were released and it made fans and followers of the royal pregnancy get more excited about Kate's July due date.

"But I really can't mount an argument in favor of the monarchy. Is that treason? Do I have to turn in my passport?" jokingly quips Knightley on the current leaders of the British monarch.

The 'Anna Karenina' star also talked to the magazine about her fiancée and her relationship with musician, James Righton, of rock band, The Klaxons.

"I get wonderful perspective by being with someone who is less like me than more like me," reveals Kiera in the same Marie Claire interview.

"The way he thinks is something I don't get. We come at things from totally different angles." added the actress.

Kiera is currently filming the movie adaptation of Tom Clancy's 'Jack Ryan' with Chris Pine and Kevin Costner. The movie is set to be released later this year.
