Reality star Khloe Kardashian has been committing social media mistakes left and right in the past week. While she’s in Dubai, her Instagram post while wearing Muslim garments has sparked a controversy. Shortly after, a selfie with a tiger cub has drawn criticism from followers and animal rights activists.

“Kisses,” she wrote while posing for a photo with a tiger cub kissing her cheek. She herself is puckering up in the photo and looking towards the camera. Behind her and the cub, a tapestry showing a grown tiger hangs on the wall.

Instagram user @f.e.r.r.e.t.s. has some choice words for the entrepreneur and television personality: “Yet again another idiot Kardashian who clearly isn't thinking before doing something. These felines belong in the wild with their mother, not taking glamour shots with you.”

The rest of the comment speaks about Khloe and her family’s “stupidity” and tells them to do some research about animals that are taken from the wild and held in captivity. Other comments call her “self-centered” and “selfish” among other negative things.

Khloe also posted photos with a monkey, a giraffe and various marine life inside the aquarium at the Atlantis Hotel. She has been staying at the underwater suite of the Atlantis The Palm and she even showed off a short video from inside her bedroom. The floor to ceiling glass walls give an unrestricted view into the aquarium filled with thousands of exotic marine life.

Earlier this week, Khloe already caused a social media frenzy when she posted a photo of herself wearing a niqab and hijab. The traditional Muslim garments are meant to cover up a woman’s head and face. Many netizens slammed her for using the garments as fashion accessories and for disrespecting the local culture.

She had also been criticized in the past after captioning a Halloween photo with the words “Sheik pussy.” In the photo, she was in a cat woman costume while Scott Disick and his friend Chris Reda are both wearing traditional Arabic clothing.

The reality star came to Dubai to appear in a hair styling seminar which took place on Monday. She acted as hair model for her hair stylist and good friend Jen Atkin who is the founder of the “Mane Addicts” website and organizer of the event of the same name.
