A bottle of weed accidentally dropped out of Kevin Durant’s SUV as he prepared to step in on Friday night, May 22, 2015. The Huffington Post reported that the Oklahoma City Thunder star spent some time at Hollywood Club Hooray Henry’s in Los Angeles, then went out and answered some questions from reporters.

Afterwards, he decided that it was time to leave. He was on his phone as he opened the door. However, what appeared to be a plastic canister of marijuana fell out of the black SUV and onto the street.

Someone from the crowd shouted out, “Uh-oh, dropping the weed!” The 2014 NBA MVP only looked on while one of his staff immediately covered the container.

The guy told the cameraman who was focusing on the plastic canister, “Come on, man. Don’t do that. Don’t do that.”

TMZ recorded the incident on video. Although there was no confirmation on what was inside the yellow and white container, it could probably be prescribed by the doctor to possibly help with Durant’s ailing foot. It might not even belong to the OKC forward but to one of his friends. Nevertheless, it will not be affecting KD’s performance, considering how the Thunder are not in the NBA playoffs.

In the video, Durant was noticeably wearing some form of support over his foot. ESPN reported that the prognosis is good on his foot’s recovery. Despite the failure of KD’s foot to follow the first plan regarding the original injury, medical evidence showed that his chances for a successful comeback in the 2015-2016 NBA season is very high. The 26-year-old has been staying on the sideline for the rest of the regular season, watching the OKC Thunder miss the NBA playoffs. Durant has yet to confirm what was the true content of the plastic container and if it was part of his medical regimen.
