Kendall Jenner is the new queen of Instagram. She has now dethroned Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for having the most-liked Instagram photo. The previous record was held by the couple for a wedding photo which shows the two of them kissing in front of a wall of roses.

Kendall’s popular photo was posted five weeks ago. It shows the model lying on the floor while wearing a white lace dress that resembles a wedding gown. Her hair was splayed all around her heard and arranged to curl at the ends forming heart shapes.

The photo has now gathered 2.5 million likes and over 100,000 comments. The previous record holder posted by Kim, was shared 13 months ago. It has gathered 2.4 million likes and over 60,000 comments. Reports of Kendall’s photo surpassing Kim’s post has resulted in some fans calling for new likes on Kim’s picture.

Kendall heard about the achievement and could not help but taunt her sister and brother-in-law. She took to Twitter to share the news and to gloat about her victory. Nevertheless, Kim still has a lot more Instagram followers than Kendall. She boasts a whopping 37 million followers as opposed to Kendall who has just under 30 million.

Members of the Kardashian-Jenner clan have been making a habit out of breaking social media records. Earlier this month, Variety reported that Caitlyn Jenner broke the record for fastest growing Twitter account. She reached 1 million followers in just 4 hours. The record was previously held by U.S. President Barack Obama. To date, Caitlyn already has 2.6 million followers.
