Amid the headlines about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s controversial split, one celebrity couple continues to stand the test of time, intrigue and massive temptation.

Australian country singer Keith Urban recently revealed the reason why his marriage with A-list actress Nicole Kidman has remained strong for ten years – an extremely rare feat in Hollywood. In an interview with 2day FM radio hosts Rove and Sam, the 48-year-old “Fighter” singer said that a strong friendship is their secret to a long-lasting marriage.

“We just love being together, more than anything,” he said, according to Woman’s Day. “We’re just like best friends.” He recognises that there’s no single formula to ensure a blissful relationship, but he reckons “doing everything together” is what works for him and Nicole. “That’s it, we’re the priority and everything else comes after that,” Urban said.

Kidman, on the other hand, told Red magazine that her marriage with Urban wasn’t as smooth-sailing in its early days, admitting that it was “really up and down for the first three months.” The couple, who have two daughters Faith and Sunday Rose, celebrated their tenth wedding anniversary last June. "We've been through a lot for 10 years. And we're stronger than ever," the 49-year-old Oscar-winning actress said. "I say that while touching wood, and no way in a boastful way. I just say it with wonder. Absolute wonder."

She also flashed back on her previous marriage with Tom Cruise, confessing that she’s still shocked when she thinks about how young she was then. “I was so young when I got married. I look back now and I'm like, 'What?' You look at Taylor Swift, I mean, how old is she? She's 26. I had two kids by the time I was 27 and I'd been married for four years. But that's what I wanted,” she told Red magazine.

Cruise and Kidman fell in love while on the set of “Days of Thunder ,” married in 1990 and separated in 2001. They have two adopted children, Isabella and Connor.
