Kim Kardashian is upset at Taylor Swift for reportedly bashing Kanye West about the lyrics to the song "Famous"
Despite the differences between Kanye and Kim West and Taylor Swift, at least one person in the Kardashian family still finds the Grammy-winning singer lovely. Kris Jenner recently referred to Taylor as a “lovely girl,” even after her daughter accused the latter of lying over Kanye’s hit song.
Previously, Kim Kardashian defended her husband Kanye in a GQ interview in June 2016, since Taylor was always trying to play the victim and putting Kanye in bad light. According to Kim, Taylor approved Kanye’s lyric in his controversial hit, “Famous,” but subsequently went back on her consent and made it appear to the public that the rapper was bashing her again. She shared that Taylor long knew about the lyrics before the song came out, but suddenly acted as if she did not and proceeded to slam Kanye during her Grammy acceptance speech.
According to Kim, they have a video of Kanye and Taylor talking, with the latter approving the line. However, Taylor’s legal team prevented them from featuring the clip. Since then, the feud between them has progressed and Kim ultimately decided that she would defend her husband no matter what, and that she will not allow Taylor to get away with her actions.
During a recent interview with KIIS 1065 radio show hosts Kyle Sandliands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson, Kris Jenner, 60, said that she does not know any of the details about Taylor’s relationship, among other things, but described the singer as lovely. She said that similar to everyone else, when a person dates someone in Hollywood, everything is sensationalized and photographers are everywhere.
Mail Online cites Kris in saying that only Taylor and the person she is currently dating (Tom Hiddleston), knows what is truly going on in their relationship. The “momager” continued to say that Taylor is a great person and wished her the very best. She said that she only wants the pop star to be happy, in the same manner that she wishes for her own daughters to be.
Taylor garnered the ire of many fans after immediately jumping into a new relationship with Hiddleston, from her recent split with Calvin Harris.
