This year's MTV EMAs may be an exciting event to follow up. Along with celeb's scintillating performances, fans can expect some drama involving Taylor Swift, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Rumours claim that Katy Perry is joining forces with Rihanna to get back at Taylor Swift and even scores. The two songstresses are reportedly getting into action mode for MTV EMAs.

According to Heat magazine (via Yahoo UK), Katy Perry is devising a plan against Taylor Swift that may involve more people than just Rihanna. Speaking to the magazine, a source revealed Katy Perry and Rihanna's plot. It is reported that the "Dark Horse" singer and her friends, including the "Monster" songstress, "are planning on totally embarrassing her at the awards in front of the world."

While this may sound mean, but their exact plan of action isn't too harsh. The insider revealed that "they are just going to talk all the way through her [Taylor Swift] performance." This reportedly includes ridiculing her dance steps, just like "Rihanna did to Ariana Grande at iHeartRadio awards."

Moreover, if Taylor Swift tries to get friendly with the two current best friends, they will reportedly "walk in the opposite direction, ruining any plans Taylor might have to make it look like its all fine."

Fans know that Taylor Swift and Katy Perry were best friends for a long time before things got bad between the two. According to Yahoo UK, Taylor Swift's recent interview with Rolling Stone magazine ignited the rivalry. Speaking to the publication about her latest album "1989", the singer said that the song called "Bad Blood" is about a "former friend." Opening up about her life and her relationships with unnamed celebs, Taylor Swift revealed that for a long time she was unsure if this female was her friend or not. The big revelations quickly led to a frenzy of speculations and several media outlets believe that Taylor Swift was pointing at the "Roar" singer.

However, Taylor Swift reportedly tried to apologise to the songstress. The insider revealed that the "Love Story" singer kept calling Katy Perry until a friend told that her number was blocked. Issues got aggravated between the two when Katy Perry posted a cryptic message on Twitter. Meanwhile, Katy Perry isn't taking the incident too seriously.

Rumours has it that Katy Perry also tried to destroy Taylor Swift's Red tour. Hwoever, there is no confirmation except that an interview with one of the dancers suggests that Katy Perry recruited Taylor Swift's Red tour dancers.

Meanwhile, MTV EMAs nominations were unveiled on Sept. 16, 2014. Katy Perry is leading with seven nominations including Best Female and Best Pop Act. As for Taylor Swift, she has been nominated in two categories. The gala event will be held at Glasgow's Hydro venue on Sunday, Nov. 9, 2014.
