After 10 months of dating, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have apparently decided to shake each other off. The “I Kissed A Girl” singer was ready to settle down and start a family while the “Pirates Of The Caribbean” actor was reportedly not having any of it.

The report, which appeared on InTouch Weekly (via Independent.Ie), claimed that the two split up earlier this month. “Not long after Halloween, Orlando confessed to pals that he’d decided to end their relationship,” a source told the magazine. “He claimed that he’s just not ready to get married and have babies.”

Meanwhile, a separate source claimed that it was Perry who officially called it quits. “She said they were on different life paths and as much as she likes him, it's time to move on.”

The issue might have started brewing between the two last month when E! News reported that Perry was ready to become a mother. “I see the amazing thing of birth and children and the vulnerability and we just have to take of them and how big of an impression we have,” the 32-year-old said in her interview. “Children to me are becoming a big focus.”

At that time, however, a source told the publication that Perry and Bloom were heading in that direction. "They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up,” they said. "[Marriage and children are] something Katy has always wanted when she met the man she was ready to settle down with."

Both Perry and Bloom have been married before. Perry was married to actor Russell Brand in 2010 but the two split up in 2012. Meanwhile, Bloom was married to model Miranda Kerr for three years before their divorce in 2013. They share custody of their 5-year-old son, Flynn.
