Kate Upton has recently tried out a trapeze class with boyrfriend Justin Verlander. The couple shared snaps of their high-flying trapeze adventure on Instagram.

"Today I learned @justinverlander is amazing at trapeze, thanks for the surprise, thanks TSNY New York," Upton wrote on Instagram. "Had so much fun at trapeze school learning how to fly @kateupton," Verlander captioned the photo he also shared on Instagram.

The couple went to Trapeze School New York, which offers a variety of trapeze classes including static trapeze, silks and rope, lyra, and conditioning and acrobatics. Upton and Verlander didn't reveal what type of class they took. As seen on their pictures, the couple could have taken the beginner's class that includes the basic skills such as taking off, knee hang, planche and whip, and other fun tricks.

Upton and Verlander had been spotted quite a few times in recent weeks. The couple, who had been involved in celebrity-hacking scandal where private pictures were leaked online, is certainly taking advantage of the baseball offseason to spend time with each other. They also make sure to keep their supporters and fans updated with their romantic outings by sharing pictures on social media.

Numerous celebrities have already tried swinging from a trapeze. Award-winning singer Pink has performed while dangling from the ceiling at the Video Music Awards and 2010 Grammy Awards. "Cougar Town's" Carolyn Hennesy is a trapeze artist. Hennesy has been enjoying trapeze lessons for more than a decade now. It is one of her secrets to staying fit at her age.

In 2009, Molly Sims, Mischa Barton, and Kim Kardashian worked with Reebok and Cirque de Soleil to create an acrobatic workout called "Jukari Fit to Fly." Former artistic gymnast Shannon Miller also had a high-flying trapeze adventure as part of her mini-series for a Florida-based fundraiser. Traci Dinwiddie of "Supernatural" also takes trapeze classes to make her workout fun and exciting. She is a regular at Kinetic Theory Circus School. Other celebrities who have tried trapeze training include Hugh Jackman, Tom Cruise, Gisele Bundchen, Leonardo di Caprio, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Joely Richardson.
