Even after she became part of the royal family, the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton has relied to one salon for her shiny, bouncy hair. The secret to her voluminous hair? Blowouts three times a week.

Dating back to April 29, 2011 during the Royal Wedding, those who immediately took Kate to be a style and beauty icon got familiar with the Richard Ward Hair and Metrospa in the London neighborhood of Chelsea.

But even now as she becomes royalty, Kate Middleton has refused royal treatment and prefers going to the salon herself. She has been a client of the salon for nearly a decade and that's even before she was hailed Duchess. Kate goes for her shiny, volume-filled treatments which start at $75.

A source shared on US Weekly magazine that the Duchess "insists" on visiting the said salon that having them come over where she was.

"Kate's a girlie girl," the source adds. "She loves her time there and she has known everyone there for years so it's really relaxing for her."

Back last year, Kate sat down to four long hours at the salon to get her hair colored with organic dyes. Surely the Duchess loves her pampering sessions.

"Apply a holding serum onto wet hair to take out the frizz and make the hair silky smooth. Start with hair that's 80 percent wet and use a good blow dryer with a concentrator nozzle and a real-bristle brush. The serum memorizes the form and holds the curl in place while you blow dry," Ward gave tips last summer to achieve picture-perfect hair like that of Kate's
