Though having the rest of the world see her topless photos is quite the embarrassing ordeal, Kate Middleton seem to have gained confidence from it, according to reports.

One surprising outcome from the spreading and surfacing of the Duchess' topless photo scandal is the improvement of her esteem. Kate seems to be amused and quite confident after reading positive comments how lean and fit her body is.

"Kate has always been insecure about her body. While she wasn't amused that the world's media published photos of her topless and naked, she has been given something of a boost from the whole scandal." said a source close to the Duchess.

"Kate has seen some of the positive comments about her body on the internet. It's made her feel much more positive. But she'll be more careful in the future." added the source.

The Duchess' fixation about her figure has always been an issue, even sparking allegations that she is somewhat anorexic because of her drastic weight loss for the Royal Wedding in April last year. There have also been reports that even her husband, Prince William, had been planning to stage an intervention so she can feel comfortable in her own skin. It has neither been denied nor confirmed.

Earlier last month, topless photos of the Duchess were first seen published in Closer Magazine, a French Publication whose editors did not, at all, feel sorry or remorseful after releasing the photos.

"We're in the celebrity press business and we know that these images are full of joy, not degrading and concern a princess who is pretty and is making the whole world dream," said Laurence Pieau, Closer's editor.

But the Palace made sure appropriate action should be taken. An injunction ordering Closer to surrender hard and digital copies of the photos took place, though it did not stop Italian, Swedish, and Dutch publications to publish the photos in their magazines as a free ride on the scandal wheel.

It is estimated that more than 7 million Brits have seen the photos, quite a huge number considering that there were no publishing house that dared to include the photos in their roster.
