Now that the heat from the topless photos has subsided, the Duchess of Cambridge is feeling terrified for the safety of her privacy.

In a report, it was said that the future queen of England is feeling "terrified" for embarrassing her husband and the rest of the royal family after her topless photos surfaced. While vacationing in a Chateau situated in Provence, South of France, the royal couple were snapped sunbathing and Kate was caught without her bikini top on.

"Kate is mortified. Since she and William met, she's constantly been on guard against embarrassment. When they used to go away with William's friends, Kate would lecture everyone on what not to do in case there were photographers." says a source close to the couple to OK! Magazine.

Kate is reportedly "too embarrassed," even apologizing to the royal family countless times whether the photos caused any harm or not. Though it is not her fault and it is considered that she is a victim in this blowout, the prim and proper Duchess still feels bad about the whole scandal.

Earlier last week, it is revealed that the photographer who was responsible for the photos were in fact, an Englishman living in the South of France. It is also said that the paparazzi was sent by Closer Magazine on an assignment.

Meanwhile, Closer Magazine may be banned from producing the topless or any related photos, but it did not stop publications from other countries on riding on the sensational breach of privacy.

Italian magazine, Chi, was the second publication to release the images. Se Og Hor, a Dutch gossip magazine published a 16-page spread dedicated to the explicit photos. Though many have seen the images, the reputation of the Duchess is not that tarnished based on the reaction of higher media and representatives from St. James Palace.
