Kate Middleton was photographed allegedly looking pale and tired while out shopping in London. According to reports, the Duchess of Cambridge didn't look her usual dolled-up self when she stepped out revealing a few streaks of grey hair.

According to The Express, the Duchess looked out of sorts during her shopping trip in London on Monday, Jan 12. Kate Middleton supposedly didn't look her usual glamourous self, as what people normally see during her public appearances. Instead, Duchess Catherine reportedly looked weary and pale during her stop at London's Peter Jones department store. Likewise, the photo shared on the site shows Kate's glossy hair slowly turning grey. The Duchess was photographed with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, revealing a few streaks of the grey hair along her forehead. According to an eyewitness, the pregnant Catherine "shopped for at least an hour." The site claimed she may have even struggled carrying her three shopping bags.

"She was with two security guards but Kate carried all of her own bags and they did not look light," the source added.

However, Kate Middleton was back to her radiant and glowing self when she tended to her royal duties on Thursday, Jan 15. Gone were the grey hairs. Instead, according to Mail Online the streaks were completely dyed.

It's believed the duchess of Cambridge was asked to tone down on using beauty regimen containing chemicals that may be harmful to her baby. Kate is reportedly already six months into her second pregnancy. It's said she had to minimise the use of spray tans and glossy, semi-permanent highlights because of its contained chemicals. Thus, according to Mail Online she opted for a vegetable hair dye when she stepped out to visit her new charity centre for The Art Room in London. Catherine reportedly booked an appointment with the saloon for the dye before having her hair blow-dried and styled. The grey streaks were gone the moment she stepped into London's Barlby primary school, where the centre was located.

Probably all the Duchess of Cambridge needs is a little break from her royal duties. According to a source, Kate Middleton may soon be travelling to a private island in the Mustique Caribbean. She is expected to join her family, sans Prince William, for her mother's 60th birthday.
