Planning for at least three children, Kate Middleton and Prince William are hoping to give Prince George a baby sister and reportedly naming her after the "People's Princess," Diana. Currently in her early stages of pregnancy, Kate was forced to reveal her second pregnancy after she cancelled a trip with Prince William in Oxford University.

After months of speculations, Clarence House made the announcement on Monday, Sept. 8, after telling both of their parents,Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles and Carole and Michael Middleton. The Cambridges also informed Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip on Sunday before making the grand announcement.

Currently under treatment for her extreme morning sickness, the Duchess reportedly told her friends that she is planning a big family and wants George to have a sister and a brother. Just like Kate, who has two younger siblings, Pippa, 31 and James, 27.

Now expecting to have a little princess, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are praying that the pregnancy will go on smoothly as they prepare for another addition to growing family. Even the excited grandfather, Prince Charles, is hoping for the arrival of a granddaughter as he revealed Kate's second pregnancy is a great news for the whole family.

"Proud grandad could not resist during a visit to a Prince's Trust project in Bermondsey, South London. He told Corey Johnson, 36, he hopes for the arrival of a little princess," Mirror reports. "And laughed when Mr Johnson told him: "That's a bit biased!" Charles said: "We are very happy. It's splendid, very exciting.""

During her first pregnancy, Catherine also revealed that William always wanted to have a girl just like Prince Charles, who was hoping to have a little princess when Princess Diana was pregnant. There are a number of names that could be a potential name for Will and Kate's little princess and one of which is Diana, after the Prince's mother.

"I'm putting my money on Charlotte or Victoria is its girl," according to Glamour's name expert. The name Diana which is William's way to pay tribute to Princess Diana would appear in the child's middle name. Prince George middle names are Alexander and Louis, while Prince William's full name is William Arthur Philip Louis.
