Not too long ago, Kensington Palace made the big announcement of Kate Middleton's pregnancy through its communication channels. Almost a month after, the reports started to swirl around claiming that the royal parents have already thought of the name of their second baby. Even though the gender of the child is not yet revealed, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge are expected to name the second royal baby after Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth-if it's a girl.

Several media outlets are reporting that the Duke and the Duchess may name their baby Elizabeth Diana Windsor. Based on Princess Diana's royal biographer Andrew Mortan's claims, The Sun (via Daily Mail) broke out the news on Sunday. They have decided a name clearly in the honor of Prince William's mother and the deceased Duchess of Wales and grandmother and Queen of England.

Andrew Mortan told the publication that the big revelation was made to him by Kate Middleton and Prince William's "close friends." Mortan also noted that after Prince George, the royal couple is hoping their second child is a girl.

"They discussed girls' names before George was born and now they're hoping the next one is a girl so they can carry out their wish to honour William's mother," Andrew Mortan told The Sun as quoted by Daily Mail.

Andrew Mortan released much-talked about biography of Princess Diana titled "Diana: Her True Story" in 1992. It is said the book revealed several inside details of Duchess' of Wales' life.

It is reported that Andrew Mortan claims that Kate Middleton and Prince William's decision of christening the child as Elizabeth Diana instead of Diana Elizabeth is to please all those who could stir up a controversy. By doing this, Duke and the Duchess are reportedly hoping not to evoke negative reaction from the royal observers, due to alleged "hostility" between Princess Diana and Queen Elizabeth.

Besides writing about Princess Diana, Andrew Mortan has also penned down story of Prince William and Kate Middleton titled "William & Catherine: Their Story." The book was released soon after the royal wedding in the year 2011.

Recently, Dickie Arbiter, who worked in the royal press office, claimed to be releasing a book titled "On Duty With The Queen: My Time As A Buckingham Palace Press Officer." Mirror UK reports that the book brings out some "intimate secrets of his time in the palace."

Meanwhile, Kate Middleton's second pregnancy was announced on Sept. 8, 2014. Soon after, the reports about her acute morning sickness started to make rounds. It was reported the Duchess of Cambridge had to pull out of some royal duties while she was suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. However, she is reportedly going to start attending to her duties in October.
