Kate Middleton recently paid tribute to the fallen servicemen on Remembrance Day in London. The duchess, Prince William and other royal family members came together on Sunday, Nov. 9, to remember the brave members of Armed forces who lost their lives during World War I.

According to OK, the 33-year-old royal, dressed in a black coat and matching hat, was in a "sombre" mood. She wore a poppy brooch as token to the poppy fields where many soldiers fell during the World War I. Queen Elizabeth II asked the nation to observe a moment of silence, which was followed by a gun salute. The Queen then laid a wreath of flowers at the foot of Cenotaph. Prince William and Prince Charles also laid wreaths as a way to pay tribute to the soldiers, according to E.

Following the ceremony, Middleton, Prince William, Queen and Prince Philip sang hymns. Prime Minister David Cameron and wife Samantha Nick Cleg, Ed Miliband and former Prime Minister Tony Blair, also joined the emotional service.

Before attending Remembrance Day, Middleton was seen at Valero oil refinery in Pembroke, Wales with husband Prince William. The mother of one-year-old Prince George had attended the event wearing a pale blue coat, black tights and black boots. The royal couple met with workers as their fans waited outside. According to The Telegraph, the crowd cheered and waved a Welsh flag. After meeting the workers, Middleton and Prince William waved back at the crowd.

"She is just normal really but ever so beautiful, even more beautiful than the pictures show. She put us totally at ease and it felt like we were talking to anyone, not the future Queen of England," said Tracey Olin, a founding member of Pembrokeshire Action to Combat Hardship, about Middleton, as quoted by The Telegraph.

Middleton and Prince William are currently expecting their second child. The Duchess' pregnancy was announced on Sept 8. Since then she has made several public appearances including one at the Action on Addiction Autumn Gala where she wore a baby blue Jenny Packham dress. Middleton's due date is in Spring next year.
