On Wednesday, the pregnant Kate Middleton was not around to accompany and watch Prince William with his polo match at the annual Audi Charity Polo Challenge in Chester, England. The mum-to-be reportedly decided to just stay at home and rest for the baby's sake.

The 31-year-old Duchess of Cambridge still suffers from the morning sickness that caused her to be hospitalized last year but she discovered a method to help her lessen the pain through hypnotherapy. "Kate still looks at food and feels nauseous. She's been plagued with that feeling you have when you've had food poisoning and your stomach's shrunk. She finds it very hard to eat a full meal and gets full very quickly," Jessica Kay, a friend of Kate, revealed to Australia's New Idea Magazine.

Kate's snacks during her pregnancy are avocados, berries, broccoli and oatmeal. "The hypnotherapy is taking away any negative thoughts connected with food from the morning sickness and replacing them with cravings for healthy, nutritious food," Kay further shared.

With her due date fast approaching, Kate Middleton is reducing as well her public appearances and duties as a member of the Royal family. Representative of the St. James' Palace has already confirmed that the Duchess of Cambridge will be spending time away from the media attention during her maternity leave.

Last week, Kate Middleton attended the Queen's Annual Garden Party at Buckingham Palace showing off her growing baby bump. It has been confirmed that the Duchess will make an appearance with the other members of the Royal family to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth's coronation at Westminster Abbey.

Kate Middleton will be about eight months pregnant during the celebration service to be held on Tuesday, June 4. Kate's final public appearance before delivering the Royal on mid-July will be the June 13 event at Southampton where she will be naming a cruise ship.
