Kate Middleton is almost five months away from her due date and celebrations for the unborn have already begun. Duchess of Cambridge's sister Pippa Middleton has reportedly treated her to an early baby shower. The details of the party hints it's a baby girl this time.

Citing the claims of Star Magazine, Hollywood Life reports that Pippa Middleton planned a "baby shower fit for a princess." It is said it was pink-themed party which included "pink-iced cupcakes, pink cocktails and a huge white cake," according to "a source close to royal couple."

The source further revealed that the cake was made of "Pink sponge [cake] and strawberry filling." Joining the women at the party was a special guest, Prince George. The source claims that he enjoyed pink delicacies and was the "star of the show." As revealed, the one-year-old loves to be the "center of attention."

Considering the pink-theme of the party, the celebrity news and fashion publication speculates that either the Duchess of Cambridge is fond of colour pink or the royal couple is preparing to welcome a daughter. Furthermore, based on the magazine's report, The Epoch Times states that "Kate Middleton is expecting a baby girl."

Ever since Kate Middleton's pregnancy was announced, reports claiming that the Duchess is carrying a baby girl began to emerge. In November, Life & Style Magazine (via Hollywood Life) revealed that Prince William and Kate Middleton are "both thrilled" with the news. However, it must be noted no associated person have confirmed the news. So it remains to be seen whether the royal couple is blessed with a daughter or a son once again.

Meanwhile, Pippa Middleton is said to be eyeing at a "Today Show" job. The rumours surfaced in early November. Daily Mail reported that she is in talks for a job of a correspondent for "$500,000 pay packet." According to Inquisitr, this upset Kate Middleton and Queen Elizabeth both. This reportedly "miffed" the Duchess. However, veracity of claims cannot be ascertained as the report lacks official comments.

This wasn't the first time reports about tension between the two sisters surfaced. Prior to this, in the summer of 2014, Pippa Middleton appeared on "Today Show" for an interview with show host Matt Lauer. It was said that her appearance did not go down too well with the royals. A source told Perez Hilton that the royals are "furious with Pippa."
