Kate Middleton, who is currently pregnant with her second child, is reportedly having a baby girl. The Nov. 24 issue of Life & Style magazine is claiming that the Duchess of Cambridge is going to welcome a little princess this time.

The couple is said to be "thrilled." Queen Elizabeth II is also excited and "loves the idea of Kate and William having a boy and a girl," Hollywoodlife said quoting the magazine insider. The royal family has not yet confirmed these reports. However, a royal insider says that even if it is a girl, Middleton does not want to paint the nursery in traditional pink. She wants to go for more neutral colours such as cream and beige.

In one of the previous reports it was said that the new royal baby would have two nurseries, one at the Kensington palace and one at the Anmer Hall in Norfolk. At present, the nurseries are decorated with Beatrix Potter books. The fittings for the rooms have been chosen from luxury children furniture emporium Dragons of Knightsbridge. Prince George's nanny Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo is overlooking the decoration.

Middleton's second pregnancy was announced on Sept. 8. It triggered speculations about the gender of her unborn child. There are reports that say that the new royal baby is going to be a boy, as Middleton is dressing mostly in blues and black.

According to Inquisitr, Prince William's wife wardrobe choices "are a bit of mother's intuition." Wearing blue and black colour repeatedly hints at the arrival of a baby boy. At her recent Royal Variety gala appearance on Nov. 13, Middleton was seen in a black net gown. On her previous formal evening appearance, she wore a blue Jenny Packham gown.

Meanwhile, Alexandra is the favourite name if it is a baby girl, followed by Elizabeth, Diana, Victoria and Georgia and James is the favourite among the boy names, followed by Arthur, Charles, Thomas and Henry, according to Daily Mail.

Middleton is expected to welcome the second royal baby in April 2015. She is currently in her second trimester and is recovering from acute morning sickness condition.
