Kate Middleton and Prince William are all set to attend their first royal variety performance. The royal couple would be attending the gala on November 13 and there would be variety of artists performing including ex-couple Ed Sheeran and Ellie Goulding.

The event would be hosted by former "British Got Talent" judge Michael McIntyre and would be staged at London Palladium. This would be Middleton's fifth royal engagement after she attends a series of public events Wales on November 8.

"The Duke and Duchess are delighted to attend the forthcoming Royal Variety Performance," said the royal spokesperson in an official statement, as reported by Independent. The event is held every year in for the benefit of Entertainment Artistes' Benevolent Fund, of which Queen Elizabeth II is the patron. The proceeds from the gala would help people from the entertainment world who need assistance.

This year the event would not only see the performances by British stars, but there would be a number of entertainers from the U.S. Legendary singers Dame Shirley Bassey and Bette Midler would perform for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Demi Lovato, known for receiving a number of accolades would be belting out some of her breath-taking pop and R&B songs. Grammy award winner Ed Sheeran who recently split with his girlfriend Goulding would also take the stage at the Royal Variety event.

Even Goulding, who is a BRIT award winner, would perform for the royal couple. Other performers who are set to perform include Britain's Got Talent winners Collabro, the cast of award winning musical Miss Saigon, Alfie Boe and Ladysmith Black Mambazo's Inala. Apart from musical performances, there would be comedy stints by Trevor Noah, Russell Kane, Jack Whitehall and Sarah Millican, according to further reports by Independent.

Meanwhile, on the other hand, the fashion critics are looking forward to Middleton's fashion choice for the event. Reportedly, Prince George's mother who is currently pregnant with her second child has hired a new stylist. She is the one who has dressed her up for the last three events. The new stylist is said to be experimenting with Kate's look.
