Kate Middleton is rumoured to be pregnant with her third child four months after giving birth to her daughter, Princess Charlotte, on May 2. According to a report, the Duchess of Cambridge’s new hairstyle only adds to the speculation since she had the same hairdo during her pregnancy in 2012.

According to Woman's Day, Kate also had a fringe when she was pregnant with Prince George in 2012. That was reportedly the last time she had decided to cut her hair in different lengths to hide a fuller face brought by her pregnancy. At that time the duchess had reportedly just revealed that she was pregnant after she was spotted leaving King Edward VII hospital to be treated for hyperemesis gravidarum.

The Duchess of Cambridge again followed the same hairstyle on Sunday while attending Kirk mass in Scotland. After being out of the public eye recently, Kate made a rare public appearance with Prince William and they were photographed riding on their Range Rover heading to mass.

Much like in 2012, the duchess’ new hairstyle also covered her face and royal watchers are questioning if she is hinting at something with her fringe. According to Womans Day, Kate’s face also looked suspiciously rounder.

The site shared a photo to show a comparison of her face in 2012 when she was pregnant with Prince George to her recent public appearance in Scotland, which reportedly also shows her with puffy cheeks.

Pregnancy rumours reportedly also went overdrive when Kate missed a friend’s wedding. She was supposed to join Prince William to witness Daisy Dickson marry Bear Maclean at All Saints Church in Thurlestone, South Devon. However, it’s believed she cancelled at the last minute and the Duke of Cambridge took Pippa Middleton as Kate’s substitute. A source told Womans Day that Kate is “clearly hiding something” since it’s unlike her to miss on things.

A source likewise revealed to Star Magazine that Kate has been missing some royal engagements because of her third pregnancy. It’s believed Queen Elizabeth II has allowed her to miss out on some public appearances considering her two previous difficult pregnancies.

However, the palace has yet to comment on the pregnancy rumours. Despite the speculations, Kate will resume with her royal duties with a visit to the Anna Freud Centre in London on Sept. 17.
