The Duchess of Cambridge is set to deliver her first formal speech to the public after being on the Duke's side for the past year.

After months of 'princess trainings' and constantly visiting charities and high profile events, Kate Middleton is now preparing for her first public speech as a Duchess. The speech will be delivered on March 19, at the opening ceremonies of Treehouse, a hospital service.

Treehouse service will be for Suffolk and Essex, and under the management of the East Anglia's Children's Hospices (EACH). East Anglia's Children Hospices is one of the charities that the Duchess supports.

Also, Middleton is set to present Shamrocks to 40 officers on St. Patrick's Day, as well as to Warrant Officers of the Irish Guards. The officers will then distribute the shamrocks to their subordinates, making this Middleton's first military assignation by herself. The ceremonial attire that Prince William wore for the royal wedding is the Irish Guards' decorated uniform, being an honorary member of the regimen.

After delivering her first public speech, Middleton is to roam around the Treehouse's facilities and will talk to the children and their folks who are currently receiving support and medical care. The Duchess will also greet the supporters and of the Treehouse and the people who work for its success.
