The Duchess of Cambridge has some last minute changes when she decided to ditch her designer dress from London and opted for a cheap summer dress given by her hosts during her visit on Solomon Islands.

Kate Middleton continues to perform her Royal duties amidst the big rumble that she faces today. The Duchess of Cambridge sets aside the topless photo scandal that she is in and chose to put on a big smile during their stay at Solomon Islands.

She was with her husband William in Malaysia when a French magazine decided to publish topless photos of Kate during her holiday trip with her husband. The couple and the palace released firm statement about the invasion of privacy, adding that the paparazzo have stepped on the "red line."

Although they looked glum during the wake of the news, William and Kate seemed to have better spirits during their visit to Solomon Islands as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour.

While Kate sported a couple of designer dresses from her favorite designers, Alexander McQueen and Alice Temperley, she opted for a cheap alternative during a dinner banquet. A royal aid said that the Duchess walked in to her hotel and found a strapless orange and pink batik dress on her bed.

"She tried it on, she loved it and she is wearing it," said the aid. The summer dress came from a little shop called Island Print.

To match her wife and keeping the island tradition, the Duke also wore a colorful summer polo. The couple looked happy and joined the diners at the island feast. They also posed for pictures with some British press photographers.
