Both Kate Middleton and Cheryl Cole, now Cheryl Fernandez Versini, hail from United Kingdom. Ever since Kate sat on the throne as the Duchess of Cambridge, Inquisitr claims the media has been all over her fashion sense. Prince William's wife may have had her fair share of wardrobe malfunctions in the past, but the site claims her fashion style has been "unrivaled." However, this may have also changed over the past days with the emergence of singer, Cheryl Cole. Writer Essel Pratt said she is now being considered as the "premiere example of British fashion excellence."

Cole's rise to stardom as a British fashion icon supposedly started following her marriage to Jean-Bernard. The site posted a photo of Cheryl Cole while out around town. She was dressed in an outfit that could allegedly "put Kate Middleton's wardrobe to shame."

However, Kate Middleton has a royal reputation to keep. Being the Duchess of Cambridge means she has to dress herself appropriately as what her title entails. The difference in both Chery Cole's and Kate Middleton's wardrobe depends on the amount of skin exposed. Cheryl's photo shows her in a dress with a low-cut bustier top, slightly revealing a little bit of boob skin and cleavage. Meanwhile, the Duchess, according to Essel Pratt, has to maintain a "sense of integrity" for being a member of the British royal family.

However, regardless if Kate shows more skin or not, the paparazzi will still be all over her especially now that she's on her second pregnancy. It would be nine months of fashion media watch, as previously mentioned by the International Business Times.

IBTimes reports the media will still be keeping an eye out on her fashion choices for her maternity wardrobe. Despite Inquisitr's claim that Kate Middleton's fashion sense may have been "dethroned" by Cheryl Cole, media will still be watching over the Duchess during and after her pregnancy.
