Last week, New mom Kate Middleton, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge seen wearing dress designed for breastfeeding mothers while taking her new son off to the country, Kate donned a dress that indicates she may be breastfeeding Prince George. The Blossom Knot Front Lavender Dress from Seraphine is a dress that can easily transition from maternity wear to new-mom attire with its deep v neckline.

The designer boasts that the neckline allows for "easy breastfeeding access post birth" (as well as showing off your new cleavage) and since the dress has been seen on the Duchess of Cambridge, it naturally flew off the shelves or website. It is available for purchase, but will not be shipped before September 2nd, 2013. Ah, the Kate Middleton Effect.

The owner claims that the Duchess has "ordered a couple of breastfeeding styles" from Seraphine and thus the world is abuzz. It look like it suits a post-pregnancy body perfectly, but the pattern is feminine and flattering.

It is true, however, that breastfeeding an infant is the best form of nourishment his mother can give him, and many were hoping that Kate would do so. It's recommended for the first six months of the baby's life, and has numerous benefits for both mother and child. Breast milk is easier for babies to digest than formula, and it is armed with antibodies and a unique blend of nutrients that help to arm infants against disease and infection.

The NRDC says "formula cannot hope to duplicate the vast and constantly changing array of essential nutrients in human milk," all of which are necessary for the baby to build the best immune system possible. But it isn't just beneficial to the baby, mothers who breastfeed have lowered risks for breast, ovarian and uterine cancer, and also find it easier to lose their baby weight.

Numbers of mothers who breastfeed are dropping in the U.K., so many were hoping that Kate would show signs of doing so.

After all she is 'THE STYLE ICON 'and the trendsetter.

Recently New mom Kate Middleton, Catherine Duchess of Cambridge made it up to Vanity Fair's 2013 International Best-Dressed List.
