It is a well known fact that Princess Kate Middleton makes pregnancy look ultra glamaorous and stunning. However, the truth is that it is not as breezy as it seems.

Princess Kate Maiddleton was suffering badly from hyperemesis gravidarun for past six weeks. It is a condition of extreme morning sickness where the woman is forced to slow down her pace of life due to persistent nauseating feeling.

Hyperemesis gravidarum (HG), if simply put in words, is excessive vomiting in pregnancy. HG is not a common pregnancy condition and affects up to three per cent of mums-to-be. Its symptoms show its ugly head around four weeks and goes itself by 14 weeks of pregnancy.

As declared earlier, the Duchess is expecting her second baby by April next year. Few days earlier, she had to cancel her foreign trip and many other social engagements due to the bouts of HG, attacking her daily. Since the pregnanacy has progressed now, she is slowly and steadily recovering and gaining back her glow and charm.

In a recent gathering in her home town of Buckleburry, she was seen in good health and was spotted in a good mood, trying to mingle with everyone. "She was her smiling, bubbly self," as elaborated by the People. "You would never have guessed she's been ill."

The royal couple is even planning to shift to their new home Anmer Hall and is making it ready to move in along with their toddler. It is quite evident that the period of HG has now ended as reflected by Duchess' demenour.

This condition of HG can become quite a nuisance in extreme cases where the pregnant woman cannot even swallow her own saliva. Due to consistent vomiting and inability to retain anything in the body, the woman start losing weight and gets dehydrated. Even simple daily task like taking a shower or driving becomes quite a problem for HG's victims.

As shared by Baby Center advisory board, one is more likely to develop HG if she is expecting twins or have the same condition in past pregnancies. The Duchess had experienced similar symptoms when she was pregnant with the Prince George who is now 15 months old. Although rumors were floating that the Duchess is carrying twins, but the same has been banished by Kensington spokesperson in the recent announcements.
