America speaks again. And this time in the name of Kim Kardashian Wedding when compared to the Royal Wedding.

Touted not only as Hollywood’s biggest celebrity wedding, ever but the union between the reality TV star, Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries has been considered as America’s answer to Britain’s Royal Wedding 2011.

Last Saturday, Aug. 20, Kim finally got married to the NBA Nets basketball star. This came after months of whirlwind romance between the celebrity couple, having gone out only for six months before Kris popped the question with a 20-karat ring in May.

Between May and August, Hollywood was swarmed with nothing but the preparations undertaken by the reality TV star and her beau.

It was no secret that since the engagement in May, Kim’s wedding is highly anticipated to be "Royal-ish" as their engagement came shortly after the worldwide phenomenon of the Royal Wedding 2011 at Westminster Abby on April 29.

Kim and the whole Kardashian clan have even been named as “copycats” for taking inspirations from the nuptial between Prince William and Kate Middleton.

And the comparison lives on until today.

Hollywood Life asserts, as cited by Gather Celebs that Kimmie’s wedding upstaged that of Katie’s. Denise Warner provides us five reasons why America thinks Kimmie’s Wedding is far better than the much-publicized Royal Wedding touted as the Wedding of the Century.

IBTimes has more to say about the issues at hand (but not necessarily making a stand that Kim’s wedding is better) It’s up to you, our readers to decide.

1. The anticipation lives on.

The world was watching the Royal Wedding from the moment Prince William and Kate got engaged in December 2010 until both were declared as the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on the day they walked the aisle on April 29.

And we all witnessed them as they were happening. The Royal offices had made sure that things were in place so that the whole world could watch the union at Westminster Abbey.

There was the official live streaming on YouTube. And more news website were livestreaming as Kate emerged from her hotel until she was taken to the Abbey. We did not miss anything.

This is not the case in Kim’s wedding. The anticipation lives on. The public will keep talking about Kim’s wedding until they see more wedding details in footage and photos. As we all know, a two-part special is now being produced on Kim’s wedding. It will be aired in October. It’s a long wait, don’t you think?

2. Kim’s physique
The Hollywood Life pointed out Kim’s bottom. Shortly before her big day she offered to undergo x-ray to prove that what she has is real and not acquired under the knife. The news website insists, America prefers the likes of Kim’s bottom and not the chic-model-like physique we had seen of Katie’s - - even after she paraded her Alexander McQueen’s bridal gown.

Enough about that.

3. Celebrity guests
It looks like Kim has more celebrity guests than the Royal Wedding. Though being a celebrity and the status of being a celebrity may be relative - - the Royal Wedding was attended by the elite and the highly-respectable officials in government.

But there is a handful of celebrities from the entertainment industry and some with sports inclination. We have the likes of Guy Ritchie, celebrity couple Victoria & David Beckham and Elton John to have scored invites to the wedding. But Simon Cowell did not even get one. Forget Simon, talk about the Obamas. They never received an invite, too.

Again, this is not the same in Kimmie’s wedding. As argued by the Hollywood life, the socialite’s wedding has more celebrities for her fans to watch out for. Sure, we started finding out who’s invited to the wedding the moment Justin Bieber scored an invite from Kim when they got reunited at 2011 Do Something Awards. And it sure made the headlines.

But it was not only the teen sensation who made the cut on the lavish wedding. Kim’s equally popular friends were there: Ryan Seacrest and his girlfriend Julianne Hough; Avril Lavigne, Robin Thicke, Alan Thicke, Jillian Barberie, Mario Lopez, Eva Longoria, Sugar Ray Leonard, Mel B., Ciara, LaLa Vazquez, Carmelo Anthony, George Lopez, Brittny Gastineau, Scottie Pippen and Lindsay Lohan.

When you talk about the numbers, the contest maintained Hollywood Life, is out of the question.

4. “Fascinators”

As solemn and regal the Royal Wedding was like as we were preparing to watch out for it, no one was prepared for the fascination brought about by Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie and their head-pieces. Kimmie, emphasized Hollywood Life scored again on this one.

5. Elegant bridal gowns
While Kate Middleton dazzled and looked chic in her Alexander McQueen’s wedding gown by Sarah Burton, Kim Kardashian had Vera Wang.

While again determining which one is best is relative, Hollywood Life closed the contest in numbers.

We know that Kate has one back up gown, the same way that it was done for the late Princess Diana. In case something went wrong and the design leaked to the media.

Kim has got not just one, nor two. She had three Vera Wangs. And she was described regal as she illuminated the lavish ceremony at Montecito, California.

There you have it, readers. It is up to you now to decide which one you like better. Tell us what you think.
