Kanye West has expressed his love for his daughter North West by releasing a song in collaboration with Sir Paul McCartney. The song, entitled "Only One," was recently released by the rapper. He dedicated it to his only child with the reality star Kim Kardashian. After the song was released, numerous fans started asking who Paul McCartney is, causing a minor Internet outrage, as to why some people didn't recognise the musical legend.

The Beatles are legends -- both as a group and as individuals. John Lennon, George Harrison, Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are some of the most recognisable and legendary names in the music industry. Granted that the Beatles first gained popularity over 40 years ago, but their timeless hits continue to be heard both in their original versions and as other artists' renditions till today. Widely respected in the music and entertainment industry, Sir McCartney has continued his solo musical career after the iconic band's breakup in 1970 . He still goes on world tours and performs in front of sold out audience. This is why many fans of the musician were surprised to learn that some fans of Kanye West didn't have a clue about Sir McCartney

After the song was released, several fans commented on the "newcomer" called Paul McCartney. Some fans even went as far as to commend Kanye for finding a new talent and that Kanye will be giving the new guy a massive career break.

On the other hand, many fans have expressed their outrage after comments were posted, asking who McCartney is. Twitter exploded with remarks about how Kanye's fans can possibly not know who the legend is. Negative comments have been exchanged between the two set of fans. However, neither Kanye nor Sir Paul have made any comment on the issue. While some people were outraged, there were also those who laughed off the comments and found humour in them. The Daily Mail has compiled a series of tweets, coming from fans who were questioning who McCartney is and also of those who were clearly appalled by the lack of recognition.

The song has been written by Kanye. It is a mellow tune accompanied by McCartney on the keyboard. The lyrics were written from the perspective of Kanye's mother, who is singing the song through her son. North's mother, Kim Kardashian, has said that the latest release is her favourite Yeezus song of all time. She said that she has been asked the question many times but this one is her definite favourite.
