The baseball offseason has started, and Justin Verlander is taking advantage of his time off the pitch to spend more time with girlfriend Kate Upton. Verlander has captured some photos and shared his vacation experiences with Upton on social media. The Detroit Tigers star pitcher also posted a picture of a delicious meal he shared with his Sports Illustrated model-actress girlfriend.

It has been initially reported that Verlander has accompanied Upton for her photoshoot in Miami. Verlander took to Instagram to share some snaps of their vacation in the Sunshine State.

In one photo, Verlander pretended to be standing on the surface water of a swimming pool. "I heard this was done before, so I gave it a try, haha #walkingonwater #miami," he captioned the photo.

The couple also feasted at a popular eating place, Joe's Stone Crab. The photo caption read, "Can't be in Miami without eating at #joestonecrab #sogood @kateupton."

Since Verlander and Upton got back together, the pair had been on numerous romantic getaways. They have gone to Bahamas in early 2014. US Weekly reported that Verlander and Upton enjoyed their Carribean Holiday, where they shared a romantic meal at Mahogany House restaurant, just before the New Year's Eve celebration.

In July, they were spotted relaxing in Cancun, Mexico, according to a report by E! Online. Severeal onlookers claimed that Verlander and Upton were having the best times of their lives with each other's company.

Verlander and Upton started dating in the late 2011. They starred in a commercial for MLB 2K12's Perfect Club in 2012. They were rumoured to have parted ways in 2013. Upton had been in a six-month relationship with "Dancing With The Stars'" Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

After her short romance with the Ukrainian dancer, Upton got back together with Verlander in January 2014. They were spotted watching a Philadelphia Flyers hockey game.

On Aug. 31, a massive leak of nude celebrity photos hit the Internet. Verlander and Upton were among the celebrity victims of the photo hacking scandal, but the couple put the nude photo leak behind them and didn't let the outrage ruin their second chance at love.
