‘Jelena’ fans can’t stop gushing over the unexpected release of Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's new duet, “Strong.” .

The track, featuring the voices of Bieber and Gomez, was released on Drake's Beats 1 show OVO Sound Radio on Saturday night.

The song was rumoured to be the singers’ ode to their previous relationship.

"What should I do? Should I go? / Who do I talk to? Nobody knows," Bieber asks in the track.

“There’s no sophistication in my lack of patience. I’m just wishing you were better at communication.. As I sit here steady waiting, wishing that you would call my name,” Gomez sings.

Fans immediately set Twitter on fire with comments about the leaked track. Some said they were thrilled with the new song while others said they couldn’t wait for more.

Now I understand why @selenagomez kept going back to @justinbieber That game is strong.

Both singers have remained silent about the track, which was deleted shortly after. There is still no report if the track will be included in Bieber’s new album, “Purpose.”

Bieber and Gomez have been vocal about their past relationship in different interviews. Bieber, 21, and Gomez, 23, were in an on-and-off relationship since March 2011.

Gomez told Billboard in early October that she was “proud” of Bieber and “always believed” in him.

Bieber, on the other hand, explained to Complex in an interview that he was “so in love” with Gomez, but that he failed in “choosing” to love Gomez.

Last November 2014, Gomez released two new singles -- “The Heart Wants What It Wants” and “Good For You” -- supposedly about her feelings for Bieber. The “What Do You Mean” singer responded via an Instagram post saying “Sometimes, love isn’t a feeling but a choice.”

Bieber’s latest album “Purpose” is set to be released on Nov. 13. On the other hand, Gomez’s new album “Revival” was released on Oct. 9 and currently seats at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
