Canadian pop star Justin Bieber performed Drake’s “Hotline Bling” remix at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto on Monday night. The intimate acoustic concert drew 1,500 fans, where the singer played his pop hits including “Love Yourself,” “What Do You Mean?” and “As Long As You Love Me.”

Billboard reports that the 85-minute long concert titled “An Evening with Justin Bieber,” was sold out. Around half the amount raised from the tickets worth $74 (AU$ 102.83) each, was dedicated to the Stratford House of Blessing, a non-profit organisation that his mum Pattie Mallette reportedly got help from in the past. The Stratford House of Blessing assists low income individuals and families with resources, clothing and food.

Bieber covered Drake’s “Hotline Bling” in the said show. The “Bieber Fever” rose high as Selena Gomez’ former flame took the “Hotline” number to an all new level with his dance moves. Ever since the rapper’s music video for “Hotline Bling” was released, the pop star has been using the popular song to his advantage.

While visiting the 95-106 Capital FM radio station in the UK last October, Bieber even mimicked the dance moves from Drake’s music video. He merged it with his hit song “Sorry.” His new way of promoting the song has surprised fans. Rolling Stone reports that Bieber even released his “Hotline” number on most of his social media profiles.

An Instagram photo shows the singer holding a tennis racket revealing the “Hotline” digits.
