Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber has become the first male to reach 10 million followers on Twitter. The pop sensation has been reported recording 10,050,891 by end of May, making him the second celebrity with the most number of followers on the social networking site.

The One Less Lonely Girl hitmaker tailed Lady Gaga, who topped the list of most followed person on Twitter almost a month ago. According to The Sun, Gaga had 10,551,279 followers when Bieber hit 10 million followers.

“I love u...changing my life everyday. I'm from a town of 30,000...so u guys are 333 times my town! CRAZY! NeverSayNever,” Bieber was quoted as tweeting as he reached the milestone on Twitter.

The teen singer has outnumbered even President Barack Obama, who now placed third in ranking with 8,326,574 followers on Twitter. Other celebrities Bieber has outranked include Britney Spears with 8,038,012, and Kim Kardashian with 7,688,077 followers.

The Never Say Never singer tweeted to her millions of fans: “10 million and growing …and everyday I will make the effort to show appreciation. #neverchanging# ILOVEMYFANS.”
