The growing success of the British boy band, One Direction, seems to have sparked a hint of jealousy in Canadian crooner, Justin Bieber. So much so, that the 18-year old teenage heartthrob is practically "dissing" one member of the boy band. Who is Justin Bieber referring to as the "copycat" and what do fans of both sides have to say about such atrocity?

Justin Bieber has gone from Internet YouTube sensation to world renowned performer. Bieber sings, he dances and raps. The 18-year old is soon to make waves in the film business with his upcoming Basketball film with Mark Wahlberg.

Usher's protégé also doesn't have problems in the ladies department. Given Justin busily smooches different girls in various music videos, the 18-year old have got his real life beau, Selena Gomez by his side. What more could Justin possibly ask for - a healthy competition perhaps?

Well, with five boys in another team with as equal popularity as Justin, One Direction would be Justin's biggest rival. Though a healthy rivalry in the music industry is but normal, Justin seems to be rubbed the wrong way. This holds true especially for a few details the 18-year old singer thinks one of the boys from One Direction might have copied from him.

In an interview with "We Love Pop", Justin speaks up on his new look plus why he had the big change. Surprisingly, the all new 'do is connected with One Direction's Liam Payne.

"It was more like - everyone's got my hair now and I need to change it up a little bit! Once I had my hair, I felt everybody else started to do the same thing, so I decided to change it," explained Justin. Suddenly pointing to a picture of One Directions' Liam Payne, saying, "I mean, does that look a little familiar? Just a touch!"

Well, if fans of the One Direction boys do take time in looking at Liam Payne's hairstyle now and Bieber's hairstyle then, they'd be surprised of the uncanny resemblance. Still though, hair is hair and it's meant to be copied. Should Justin Bieber really make a big deal out of it or is it "everybody" who's making a big fuss over the issue?

To clear things up, the boys of One Direction namely Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Zayn Malik have no history of bad blood with Justin Bieber. In fact, the Canadian crooner had nothing but great things to say about the British boy band in one interview.

"The One Direction guys are great. We have a lot of fun whenever we hang out. They came over my house and we were just chilling out around the pool and listening to music. We were talking about me collaborating with them on a song on their next album. It's gonna be great," said Justin.
