No. 7 seed Connecticut Huskies delivered the improbable on Sunday AEDT beating No. 1 overall seed Flordia Gators, 63-53 in the NCAA Semifinals in the game held in Arlington, Texas. The Huskies were 7.5 point underdogs in the sports betting lines.

Connecticut advances to its second national title game in four years are awaits the winner of the Wisconsin-Kentucky, the other Final Four match played on Sunday.

It was an inspiring effort from the Huskies, which fell behind 16-4 to start the game. Connecticut recovered from that bad start, took a 25-22 halftime lead and easily cruised to the victory behind an efficient offense that was patient enough to outwit Florida's trapping defense and zone.

DeAndre Daniels had a big 20 point-10 rebound double-double outburst while Shabazz Napier finished with 12 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Two other UConn players ended up in double-figure scoring, guards Niels Giffey (11 points) and Ryan Boatright (13 points).
