IN PHOTO: The sequel to the upcoming movie “Jurassic World” is already in the early stages of production, according to a new report. The movie will mark the return of the franchise to the movie theaters after being dormant for over a decade. Actors (L-R) Jeff Goldblum, Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore are shown in a scene from the new film "The Lost World: Jurassic Park" in which they come face to face with a T-Rex dinosaur. The dinosaurs in the film are created by computer graphics and large scale models. The movie opens in the United States May 23 Reuters

The producers of “Jurassic World” have shared new details about Masrani Oil, the fictitious company that owns the theme park on Isla Nublar. The update gives readers details about how the company helps in finding new fossils of prehistoric organisms that help in the genetic creation of the dinosaurs.

Masrani Global Corporation has interests in oil, telecom, mining, construction, engineering, real estate, technology and health care. Readers may have seen the CEO of the company in the trailer of the movie. A new update by the company talks about how new innovation by the company in the fossil fuel technology can help in identifying fossils and bring new dinosaurs to life.

The update talks about finding an offshore peat deposit near United Arab Emirates that can help InGen scientists to add to the “ever expanding aquatic and botanic genomic library.” “Jurassic World” will be featuring two new dinosaurs that fans have not seen in any of the previous movies from the franchise.

The first new dinosaur is the aquatic dinosaur called the Mosasaurus. Fans of the franchise may have seen the dinosaur eating a tiger shark in the official trailer of the movie. The giant dinosaur is described to be “a little shy” in the trailer, just before it comes up from underwater for its snack.

The other new dinosaur in “Jurassic World,” which will be the focus of the movie, is the Indominus Rex. This new dinosaur is not a genetic replica of any of the dinosaurs that have previously walked the earth, but an all-new dinosaur created by splicing the genetic material of different dinosaurs together.

The producers have revealed that the Indominus Rex has a very high “aggression index” and the name of the dinosaur has been revealed to mean “Fierce or Untamable king.” The producers also revealed that the genetic material used to splice the dinosaur together comes from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Gigantosaurus.

The trailers of “Jurassic World” (seen below) show that the Indominus Rex will be running loose in the park and attacking people and dinosaurs alike. The new dinosaur is said to be hunting for sport and the park’s 20,000 visitors have nowhere to go.
