Chris Pratt’s character in “Jurassic World” is not the only one responsible to train and take care of the Velociraptor dinosaurs, according to a new report. The two trailers of the upcoming movie reveal that the carnivorous dinosaurs are not very hostile towards the trainer.

The French actor Omar Sy will be playing the role of a character who is also responsible for taking care of the Velociraptors. The director of “Jurassic World,” Colin Trevorrow, spoke to Premiere about the character’s responsibilities in the upcoming movie.

The official Super Bowl trailer of the upcoming movie gave the viewers a brief glimpse of Omar Sy, when Chris Pratt says that he is going after the Indominus Rex. The new hybrid dinosaur will go on a killing spree on the island and endanger the lives of all the stranded visitors of the park.

The director has revealed in the report that Omar Sy will be playing the role of a subordinate to Chris Pratt’s character. His responsibilities will include training the Velociraptors, taking the dinosaurs to their cages after his chief is done with the training and also checking their teeth. The director added that the character has a “very personal” relationship with the dinosaurs and he “cherishes” this relationship.

The director emphasised the point that he did not try and “Americanise” Omar Sy’s role in “Jurassic World” and also talked about a scene involving his character. The scene features the actor speaking in French to the Velociraptors and the chief of security, played by Vincent d’Onofrio, pretends he understands what is being said.

Vincent d’Onofrio plays the role of Vic Hoskins in the upcoming movie. The character is responsible for security at the fictitious company Masrani Global, which owns the dinosaur theme park in the movie. He will also be responsible to oversee the development of new solutions that the company develops for international conflicts.

“Jurassic World” is slated to be released on June 11, 2015 in Australia and New Zealand. Fans of the franchise in Canada, UK and the U.S. will be able to watch the movie in the theatres on June 12. The movie is one of the most highly anticipated of the year.
