The favorite vampire-werewolf hybrid villain Klaus Mikaelson returned in the "Vampire Diaries" spin-off series called "The Originals" and actor Joseph Morgan, who portrays the character, talks about his new TV series in Bello magazine October 2013 issue. Sneak peek photos and videos for new Episode 3 titled "Tangled Up in Blue" have been released to keep "The Originals" fans excited and hooked on what will happen next.

The 32-year-old English actor revealed during the interview that he has always been fascinated with vampires and its mythology before appearing in "The Vampire Diaries." Joseph Morgan shared: "I watched a lot of films, read a lot of books, and you know, just kind of immersed myself in it, so in many ways it was a dream job going into this. I just had to familiarize myself with the particular mythology of Mystic Falls."

Joseph Morgan further dished about his new TV series being different from "The Vampire Diaries." The actor explained: "They've taken my favorite elements of The Vampire Diaries and made a new show with them. And I've always loved working with Claire Holt and Daniel Gillies. There's an older, darker, edgier side to The Originals. I'm looking forward to playing how Klaus deals with impending fatherhood."

In "The Originals" Episode 3, viewers will be treated to a captivating Masquerade ball that Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) attends. "Well this party is actually hosted by Marcel. It's not an Original evening, although myself and my sister turn up. I can tell you that there will be drama at the party, though not like you might expect. It will come in a very different form I think," Mr Morgan teased.

The CW has released as well the official synopsis for "The Originals" Episode 3 titled "Tangled Up in Blue." The synopsis reads: "After discovering interesting news about someone in Marcel's (Charles Michael Davis) inner circle, Klaus and Rebekah come together to attempt to unravel Marcel's empire from within in spite of Elijah's (Daniel Gillies) concerns. Rebekah sneakily invites an oblivious Cami (Leah Pipes) to a huge vampire party thrown by Marcel, managing to anger Marcel in the process. Elsewhere, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) learns from the witch Sabine (guest star Shannon Kane) that the supernatural creatures of New Orleans are reacting to the potential existence of a hybrid baby."
