"The Originals" main cast member Joseph Morgan teased during an interview that his character, Klaus Mikaelson, will have his hands full dealing with family members that pose a threat to the people that he cares about in the upcoming episodes of season 2. The English actor talked about the Original hybrid's relationship with his siblings, particularly Rebekah, and Cami (Leah Pipes) as well as being a father to baby Hope.

In the eight aired episodes of "The Originals" Season 2, the Mikaelson family reunion has not yet happened where all of the members of the family are together in one scene. However, Joseph Morgan claimed that episode 8 titled "The Brothers That Care Forgot" had the four Mikaelson brothers in one room for the first time in the CW spinoff series.

"I think the idea is to learn what we can from them about Esther and her motives and to do that we only need one of them to talk. So, I think that's the nice kind of threat that we can pose to them... like, 'Only one of you has to comply, the other one we don't need. So who's it gonna be?'," the 33-year-old actor shared in an Access Hollywood interview at "The Originals" set in Atlanta, Georgia.

As for Esther's plan with Cami, Joseph Morgan shared that Klaus does not like the plan because the Original hybrid is protective over the blonde bartender and psychology student. The CW star explained that Cami is the character that understands the dark side of Klaus and the reasons why the Original hybrid behaves that way.

Joseph Morgan believes that Klaus is a guy who will do awful things for good reasons in order to protect the people that he loves and cares for like Cami, Marcel (Charles Michael Davis), Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin), Rebeka (Claire Holt) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies). With Rebekah back, Joseph Morgan teased that the siblings will now put resentment aside and continue to be on good terms with each other for the sake of baby Hope.

The actor thinks that his character has now cooled down from the anger that he felt against Rebekah when he found out in "The Originals" Season 1 that it was his sister who summoned their vampire hunter father, Mikael (Sebastian Roché). Despite Rebekah's betrayal, Joseph Morgan believes that his character still loves his sister and their relationship is something that Klaus needs in his complicated life.

When it comes to being a parent to baby Hope, Joseph Morgan revealed in an Extra interview that Klaus and new hybrid Hayley will be butting heads for a little while since the Original hybrid is still coming to terms with being a father. Klaus is currently determined to protect his daughter from his enemies which unfortunately includes family members.

"The Originals" Season 2 airs on Monday nights at 8/7c on the CW Network.
