Hollywood actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt is officially taken. He is now married to his girlfriend Tasha McCauley.

The U.S. actor, who is seen as himself in "The Interview," got married on Dec. 20. People exclusively confirmed the marriage, which took place at their home. The secret marriage of the "Inception" star may not come as a surprise to those who do not consider him to be the "Hollywood type." Gordon-Levitt owns a robotics company, Fellow Robots, at NASA Research Park in Silicon Valley, California. The actor earlier said in 2013 that even though he did have a girlfriend, he would not like to talk about her in public. He did not reveal the name of his girlfriend as he said "the girl" he was with did not "want to be a part of that."

Huffington post mentions Gordon-Levitt's interview with Howard Stern, where he confirmed that he had a girlfriend. He said that his girlfriend was not in show business. "I think I'm a good person and a good boyfriend," the "50/50" actor said. He also said that he had a "phobia" of getting attention from girls as he was famous. The 33-year-old star told Stern that he was ready for commitments for marriage. "I could partner up with a woman and commit to we're going to raise a family, and that's a project we're going to commit to for 20-something years," he said.

He was right to say that his girlfriend was not in showbusiness as McCauley is the co=founder of Gordon-Levitt's robotic company. According to a Facebook profile, which appears to belong to McCauley, she studied at University of Southern California. Interestingly, there is no information about her relationship with Gordon-Levitt.

An earlier report from People said that McCauley is a graduate of Robotics from Singularity University. Later she went to the same university to teach students about "rapidly accelerating technologies." She did her International Business Education and Research MBA from the University of Southern California in 2013. McCauley speaks Arabic, English and Spanish. She has travelled to Cuba and Antarctica.
