UFC colour commentator Joe Rogan's admiration for the reigning UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is no secret. Rogan at numerous instances has declared how much the undefeated champion has lifted the sports to new popularity heights and has helped advancing the exposure of women's fighters in the mixed martial arts world. Dana White was even quoted back as not allowing women to fight in the UFC but has since changed his stance on that largely to Rousey's success and following.

During the show, "UFC Tonight," Rogan went about several topics including his high regard for Rousey. Rogan even went to saying that the American fighter is a once-in-a lifetime athlete.

"She's so dominant," Rogan declared per Bloody Elbow. "She's not just a really beautiful girl just getting by, she's smashing people."

The play-by-play guy has been doing this job for almost 20 years now, dating back to 1997 and the pronouncement might be excessive but until someone puts a dent on Rowdy's immaculate record, his proclamation of Rousey's dominance all remains true. Apart from the wins, the 27-year-old fighter is a huge draw for UFC president Dana White given that she figured in two of the highest grossing pay-per-view buys for the year. And if it is any indication the last two fights that ended in TKOs during the initial rounds just proves the distance between the competition and Rousey.

Aside from heaving Rousey praises, Rogan also made special mention of Irishman Conor McGregor who is stealing spotlights during pressers, fights and even as a spectator during pay-per-views. Rogan who has been covering the UFC since Vitor Belfort's heydays in the late 1990s sees a new legitimate superstar in McGregor. He declares that the Irishman has the bravado and the unique moves to back-up all the trash-talking.

The commentator also offered his two cents on the difference on the UFC way back to the UFC now as he pointed out that the level of the athlete's skill has been so advanced compared to when the UFC first rolled out its maiden bouts. He also admired how Belfort has stuck around through all these years given that he even conducted a post-fight debut for the controversial brawler in 1997.
