October is halfway done meaning Halloween, Christmas and then New Year is just around the corner. While some people are overly excited for Halloween, some are anxiously awaiting the news for the Jingle Ball 2012. For those who don't know what the Jingle Ball is, here's all there is to know plus what to expect this year.

The Jingle Ball 2012 is an affair of epic proportions where A-list celebrities turn up to perform. Apart from all the awards, all the performances for that night are definitely ones to look forward to. This year's Jingle Ball will be held at New York's Madison Square Garden by December 17.

Performers for the said night include Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, The Wanted, One Direction, Olly Murs, Neyo, Jazon Mraz, B.o.B. and a whole lot more. It'll be definitely interesting to see Taylor Swift perform alongside the boys of One Direction given the news that she did have a quick fling with one of them, namely Harry Styles. Still, with Justin Bieber plus the boys of The Wanted, it's probably enough to divert Swift's attention from the boys.

Again, with The Wanted on the same stage as One Direction, hopefully there won't be a break out between the boys. "Directioners" know full well that Louis Tomlinson of One Direction had a bit of a heated argument with the boys of The Wanted where he had hilariously imitated them in one radio interview.

The night will also be a battle between "Directioners" and "Beliebers." For one, both fan sides wouldn't plan to lose to the other when it comes to rooting for the boys of One Direction or teenage heartthrob, Justin Bieber.

As for now, the performers have the Jingle Ball 2012 at the back of their heads given December is still a long way to go. Swift is surely busy with her "Red" promotional tour as with One Direction for "Take Me Home" and The Wanted with their latest music video, "I Found You."

The concerts which will be hosted by New York's City's Z100 start sales by Monday, October 22 at estimated time 4pm. The tickets also go on general public sale by Tuesday on October 23 at 4pm. To limit the attempt of curbing scalpers, ticket sales have been limited to eight per person.
